A Seat at the Cap Table: We Don’t Wait for Invitations is the second flagship event from Black Men in Venture (BMV). The evening brings together Black venture capitalists, Black tech founders, and ecosystem builders — alongside allies and the broader Chicago tech community — for an intentional night of community, capital access, and candid conversation. This is the first night of Tech Chicago Week 2026, and we want to set the tone for the entire week.
