Conference attendees networking during a keynote session

The Networking App Built for Conferences

Most conference apps tell you who's speaking. Wyrl tells you who's standing next to you.

Conferences pack a lot into a few days. Wyrl shows who is nearby while you are still on site, so you can reach out before that hallway moment passes you by.

Open Wyrl between sessions and see attendee profiles around you in real time. You can read who is worth a conversation before you walk over.

A short message in the app is often easier than a cold introduction in a loud hall, especially if you prefer a little lead time before meeting in person.

Share your Wyrl profile QR code or swap digital business cards in the app. Your connections stay in Wyrl, so paper cards do not get lost and follow-ups do not go cold.

Wyrl works alongside the conference app you already use. It does not replace your agenda or session schedule. It covers the networking layer between sessions that most event apps skip.

The event guest list

Stay connected with people from the same event, even if you are not checked in at the same time.

Events are optional. They add a guest list and attendee filtering when you choose to check in. When you do join an event, Wyrl organizes people around that shared experience so you can connect before, during, and after it happens.

How nearby discovery works

Without an event check-in

Wyrl works for general nearby discovery with no event required. Wyrl does not assume you are at any particular event. If you have not checked into an event, you see other nearby Wyrl users who have not checked into an event either.

When you check into an event

Checking in through an RSVP or Join the Crowd is optional, but it enhances the experience. Once checked in, you see and are visible to people in that same event, join the guest list, and can filter to other attendees.

Events are there to improve your experience, not to make the app work.

Broader discovery in Settings

In Settings, you can expand who you see nearby beyond your current context. This allows you to:

  • Discover a wider set of people in real time
  • Network more freely across spaces
  • Adjust how checked-in and non-checked-in users appear to you

Two ways to join an event

To get on the guest list, see other attendees, and filter to people at that event, join through one of these two ways.

RSVP

RSVP to join the guest list. You can:

  • See who is attending ahead of time
  • Message attendees before the event starts
  • Continue conversations during and after the event

Join the Crowd

When the event goes live, tap Join the Crowd to join the guest list. You can:

  • See other attendees at that event
  • Filter to people in that event context
  • Continue conversations after the event ends

Why the guest list exists

Most event connections disappear the moment people leave the same room. The guest list keeps them tied to the shared context so you can:

  • Connect before you meet
  • Talk while you are there
  • Follow up after you leave

Same people. Same event. Flexible timing.
