AI for Good Meetup

Our very first “AI for Social Good” Meetup! How can AI move from being a "world-saving" buzzword to a practical tool for the social impact space? While this technology is evolving rapidly, there is a massive gap in understanding the social, environmental, ethical, and governance implications of large scale deployment of artificial intelligence tools. Thinking through and solving implementation challenges together is key to ensure it benefits the most people broadly. Already, we are seeing what is possible: AI is helping detect early signs of disease in underserved communities that lack access to specialists, supporting climate scientists in tracking deforestation in real time, and helping small nonprofits automate grant research so their teams can focus on the work that matters most.
