Join Solar Washington for PNW Climate Week as we discuss the changing landscape of solar in our state. This is a great opportunity for both novices to the solar field and experts to gather and learn about the future of the industry. Schedule: 11:00-11:15am Attendee Arrival 11:15-12:00pm Panel 12:00-12:30pm Q&A Panel Moderator: Rachel Gates (she/her) leads the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe’s Energy Sovereignty Program. She holds a master’s in Marine Affairs from the University of Washington, where her capstone research focused on community engagement in wave and tidal energy development, and BA in Environmental Science from Barnard College. Speaker Details: Richard Hartung is a consultant, writer, investor and volunteer board member focused on sustainability. He is the co-founder of Asia Sustainability Angels, serves on boards of non-profits including Solar Washington and the Centre for a Responsible Future, and writes about sustainability for Wealth & Society as well as blogs and non-profits.
