Community Mending and Sustainable Fashion Discussion at Sincere Studio

Join us at Sincere Studio for an evening of mending and facilitated conversation about sustainable fashion. Bring up to three items in need of mending and learn new skills from community members! No experience required. Volunteers will assist participants in mending clothing, bags, toys, and more. Whether you are completely new to mending or just need a little advice, volunteers will work you one-on-one to help you with your mending goals. This event is a time for our community to gather with one another and chat while we work on our own projects. For Climate Week, we will have facilitated conversation prompts about sustainability in fashion. This event is for mending only--we won't be able to do any clothing alterations (such as hemming) during this time. Volunteers can help with rips and holes, patching, sewing buttons back on, fixing undone seams, reattaching some hardware to clothing and bags, and more!
