About This Event
A bi-weekly book club reading through Pope Leo XIV's Magnifica Humanitas (virtual and in person!) — One of the most substantive things written about AI, power, labor, and what it means to be human right now happens to be a papal encyclical. This is a book club for anyone sitting with those questions: technologists, organizers, artists, people of faith, skeptics, the curious. You don’t need to be Catholic, religious, or any particular thing to be here. You just need to be thinking. We’ll meet virtually every two weeks over six sessions, working through one section at a time. The format is conversational, no lectures, no experts, just people making sense of a big text together. You don’t even have to do the reading to show up. Bring whatever you’re sipping. All are welcome. — Location: We meet online .
