An Evening on the AI Frontier — Austin Hosted by David Boskovic, Founder & CEO @ Obvious Obvious is an applied AI research lab. We spend our days closing the gap between what's possible and what's doable, and treating our own company as the experiment for what it means to operate at agent scale. Somewhere in that work, we keep running into a problem that has nothing to do with code: there aren't enough honest, real-world conversations happening between the people actually building at the frontier. The implications for product, company-building, and venture are moving faster than the conversation around them. So this dinner is an attempt to fix that for one evening. The format is simple. A small table, good food, and a few hours to think out loud together. I'll open by sharing the model of the near future driving how we operate at Obvious — the one we're working backwards from. Then I'll turn it over to the room. What I'd ask of everyone is the same thing I'll offer: the fundamental observation driving you right now, and the question keeping you up at night.
