Learn to Stitch it, Don't Ditch It!
About This Event
Keep wearing what you love! Do you have a hole in your favorite top? Did you thrift some pants that are too long? In this free guided workshop our skilled instructors will teach beginner and intermediate garment repair techniques to address simple everyday repairs. Never threaded a needle? We'll teach you simple repairs - from sewing on a button to stitching a seam. Want to expand beyond the basics? Learn how to hem pants by hand or machine. Have items you want to repair? We can guide you through sewing on a button, patching a tear, or fixing a seam that has come apart. Come prepared with a personal garment in need of repair, or work with materials we provide. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, if you're unable to attend, please cancel your ticket so others can join our event.
