About This Event
Join us at 9Zero for a casual meetup on microgrids and distributed energy resources (DERs) — solar, storage, VPPs, demand response, and more. Whether you’re building projects or just starting to learn, you’re welcome to join us. Eric Moe from Djoule discusses how thermal energy storage is one of the most powerful tools to enhance the economics, operation, and performance of energy districts and the electric grid. This presentation will discuss new and existing applications and technologies in operation and development including the economic motives for investment and renewal. dJoule will discuss our North American market development efforts with AQVANA (our wholly owned subsidiary). AQVANA is an American ice slurry technology packaging company that develops long duration storage and dispatchable capacity for growing energy districts. Here’s the agenda: Mingling, Name Tags + Snacks Welcome + Intros 20 minute - Eric's Presentation 10 min - Q&A 30 minutes - Small Group Chats – what technologies are you experimenting with? Where are you getting stuck? What trends or partnerships are you…
