PNW Climate Week: Snohomish County — Moving From Climate Plans to Regional Action

About This Event

Snohomish County communities have no shortage of climate plans, strategies, and commitments—but what will it take to turn those plans into real-world action? Join local elected officials, regional climate leaders, and community partners for a dynamic conversation focused on how city, county, tribal and regional climate initiatives are aligning across Snohomish County and the broader Puget Sound region. This event will explore where momentum is building, where challenges remain, and what is needed next to accelerate implementation and deliver meaningful climate pollution reductions. The evening will be moderated by Snohomish County Councilmember Megan Dunn, who also serves as a Board member and Vice Chair of the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency Board of Directors. Last year, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency led the development of the region's Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (Regional CCAP) through strong collaboration between local governments, community partners and others to identify high-impact strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the four-county Puget Sound
