Before sessions
Spot speakers, founders, and peers you want to meet while the room is still navigable.
You just clipped on your lanyard and the hall is already loud. Wyrl shows who else is at the conference so you can message between sessions, not after everyone flies home.
Spot speakers, founders, and peers you want to meet while the room is still navigable.
Message during the break instead of losing them in the coffee line crowd.
Find people you meant to meet all week while you are both still on site, not in the airport queue.
Stay connected with people from the same event, even if you are not checked in at the same time.
Events are optional. They add a guest list and attendee filtering when you choose to check in. When you do join an event, Wyrl organizes people around that shared experience so you can connect before, during, and after it happens.
Wyrl works for general nearby discovery with no event required. Wyrl does not assume you are at any particular event. If you have not checked into an event, you see other nearby Wyrl users who have not checked into an event either.
Checking in through an RSVP or Join the Crowd is optional, but it enhances the experience. Once checked in, you see and are visible to people in that same event, join the guest list, and can filter to other attendees.
Events are there to improve your experience, not to make the app work.
In Settings, you can expand who you see nearby beyond your current context. This allows you to:
To get on the guest list, see other attendees, and filter to people at that event, join through one of these two ways.
RSVP to join the guest list. You can:
When the event goes live, tap Join the Crowd to join the guest list. You can:
Most event connections disappear the moment people leave the same room. The guest list keeps them tied to the shared context so you can:
Same people. Same event. Flexible timing.
Booth teams see who is nearby, start a conversation in the app before someone walks past, and hand off a digital card so demos turn into follow-ups instead of forgotten faces.
Also works at meetups and hackathons. Same idea: see who is in the room and message while everyone is still there. See attendee scenarios.
You only have a few days at a conference. Wyrl helps you discover people nearby between sessions and stay connected through the guest list before and after.
The guest list keeps you connected with people from the same conference, even if you are not checked in at the same time. On conferences with RSVP, you can also message before the event starts.
Without a check-in, you see other nearby Wyrl users who have not checked into an event. When you RSVP or Join the Crowd for a conference, you see and are visible to people in that same event. You can expand who you see in Settings or go invisible at any time.
Yes. Booth teams can see who is on the floor nearby and start conversations in the app before someone walks past.
Before you travel, especially if the conference offers RSVP. Have the app ready when you arrive.
