Cloud Native Seattle: Agent Governance & Kubernetes Routing

Cloud Native Seattle: Agent Governance & Kubernetes Routing

Artificial Intelligence, Developer, Meetups

About This Event

Cloud Native Seattle’s June meetup features two technical talks — on AI agent governance and Kubernetes networking — plus time to network, at the Seattle Maritime Building. Who Governs the Agents? Building the Missing Runtime Layer for AI Systems — Imran Siddique (Microsoft) reframes agent governance as a runtime systems problem, using Microsoft’s Agent Governance Toolkit as a case study. Expect zero trust, service mesh, and SRE concepts re-applied to AI agents, plus a look ahead at Agent Control Planes and Agent Operating Systems. Routing in Kubernetes — Sitesh Pattanaik (AWS) gives a grounded walkthrough of how routing actually works inside a Kubernetes cluster: Service-based traffic routing and where it falls short, the limits of Layer 4 load balancers, and how Ingress and Ingress Controllers extend the networking layer for modern cloud-native workloads. Agenda: 5:00 PM — Networking 5:30 PM — Talk 1: Imran Siddique (Microsoft) 6:00 PM — Talk 2: Sitesh Pattanaik (AWS) 6:30 PM — Games and more networking When: Thursday, June 18, 2026, 5:00–7:30 PM Where: Seattle Maritime Building,
