Deepening Your Capacity for Climate Leadership

Deepening Your Capacity for Climate Leadership

About This Event

What if the most important variable in your climate impact isn't your technical expertise, but how you show up as a leader? In this session, The Change Leadership Lab and Lighter Side of Climate will introduce you to the Inner Development Goals (IDG), a science-based leadership framework grounded in research from 22,000+ academics and leaders across 194 countries, built on the principle that inner growth and relational capacity are the foundation for leading effective outer change. Participants will explore the five dimensions of the framework: BEING, THINKING, RELATING, COLLABORATING, and ACTING; complete a personal assessment to map their own leadership development journey; and engage in facilitated dialogue and activities designed to unlock new perspectives on their individual strengths and edges for growth. While climate conversations can often feel heavy or overwhelming, this session is founded on the principle that we can hold the gravity of what we're facing and still tap into a genuine sense of possibility — not by forcing it, but by creating the conditions for it to emerge.
