New technologies have changed the ways information can be collected, stored, and used, raising new questions about privacy, surveillance, and constitutional protections. Tools such as location tracking, geofencing, facial recognition, and data collection have become part of modern policing, marketing, and everyday technology use. At the same time, these technologies have sparked ongoing debate about personal freedom, public safety, convenience, and government or corporate power. In this conversation, we’ll explore how people think about privacy and the meaning of Fourth Amendment protections in a rapidly changing digital world.
