[untitled] series // Craft and Code

We're starting a series of events at the [untitled] office, and this is the first one. We want to get the most craft and design obsessed engineers and product people in New York into one room. The ones who treat design as part of the work rather than a layer on top of it, and who can tell the difference between something built well and something just shipped. [untitled] is built on the same belief about music. Most of the tools musicians use were made without much care, and we think that is worth fixing. The people who understand why that matters tend to be the same people who understand it in software. For this first event we're co-hosting with Shine Capital, the early-stage firm that has backed [untitled] since the beginning. Shine bets early on creative, relentless founders building iconic companies at the intersection of technology and culture, which is exactly the kind of taste this room is built around.
